Dear Friends of Past Basket,

After 50 wonderful years, Linda has made the heartfelt decision to transition Past Basket to new ownership. She is delighted to pass the basket to Sydney Brengel and Ali Burke, of Haven Interiors, who are honored and excited to carry forward the Past Basket tradition of exceptional customer service and memorable experiences.

Past Basket will continue operating in its current location until late 2026, while preparations are made for an exciting new home in Whitefish Bay. During this time, our dedicated staff will continue to warmly welcome wedding registrants, longtime customers, and new friends alike — just as you’ve always come to expect.

While this marks an important milestone, it is not a goodbye to Linda. As she begins transitioning into her well-deserved retirement at the end of the month, she looks forward to remaining meaningfully involved with Past Basket during and after the transition, offering guidance, sharing her signature personal touches, and supporting Ali and Sydney as they lead the next chapter. Past Basket will always reflect the care, relationships, and spirit Linda has built over five decades.

We look forward to sharing exciting updates with you in the months ahead as this next chapter unfolds.
